Provides a
wide variety of Planning and Manufacturing cross functional support relating to
Supply Planning and product delivery. Additionally, strong Master Production
Schedule development, Capacity Management recommendations and shop floor order
tracking through customer fulfillment with follow through to customer delivery.
Successfully manages aspects of the Supply Planning function and inventory
control to ensure that organizational goals are met. As required, communicates
risks and recommends corrective actions to management.
Key Responsibilities: Preempts potential problems and provides effective
corrective action solutions. Acts proactively and applies manufacturing
scheduling concepts, techniques, knowledge, and processes to solve problems.
Interacts closely with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) group and
Procurement. Assures supply alignment in
SAP MRP systems. Detects potential
problems and anticipates/communicates solutions.
Demonstrated leadership including listing below:
• Oversees Master Schedule and Shop Floor Scheduling. MRP and SAP experience.
• Tracks and assures goods are received on time.
• Communicates with shipping and receiving. Report schedule attainment and
shipment availability.
• Leverages raw material inventory and planning improvements. Presents improvement recommendations to management.
• Leads and works effectively across functional groups in warehousing, quality assurance, technical operations, records and shop floor personnel.
• Drive continuous improvements for successful business outcomes.
• Experience working within ISO 13485 FDA regulated environment.
Knowledge: Manufacturing Capacity Planning & Scheduling. SAP systems understanding/user skills plus strong in Excel. Microsoft Office.
Experience: BS/BA in related discipline. 5+ years of experience in Scheduling, Capacity Planning and Inventory control. Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience. Lean Manufacturing or APICS certifications a plus.
Direction of Others: Works well within Materials Planning Group and Manufacturing as functional supporting lead for scheduling, manufacturing order management and SAP systems planning execution and maintenance. Exceptional customer communication
