Eaton’s Hydraulics Division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Brooklyn, OH facility. Position Overview: The Production Supervisor will coach, assist and manage the deployment of production employees, materials, machines and supplies in the manufacturing of industrial brakes, clutches and motors. In this function you will: Lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet customer expectations. Act as a business partner by initiating and continuously managing improvements to manufacturing processes through the Eaton Business System (EBS). Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institutio or minimum (1) one year of leadership experience in a manufacturing facility Minimum (2) two years of experience in a Manufacturing environment This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee No relocation provided, candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Brooklyn, OH facility Preferred qualifications: Previous supervisory experience in a Manufacturing environment with Union representation Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q2 in 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.
