Job Description

Responsible for all activities associated with the production of Lithium Carbonate and Lithium Hydroxide Anhydrous in the processing facilities. Oversee all production employees’. Set expectations and objectives for all direct reports and provide performance feedback, coaching and support as needed. Ensure compliance of all applicable systems, policies and procedures. Promote a safe and clean working environment. Participate and lead safety discussions. Plan and study ways to improve process safety and efficiency using scientific and engineering principles. Determine short term and long term needs for capital improvements. Working with process engineers to troubleshoot and correct/improve process issues and inefficiencies. Prioritize and coordinate maintenance needs with the Maintenance Department. Coordinate all raw materials deliveries necessary to keep each process operating. Work with the Operations Manager to establish departmental budgets and operating goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work related experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer literacy with Microsoft tools.
