Job Description

Directly supervises and directs production activities of the Lithium Carbonate Plant and the Lithium Hydroxide Anhydrous Plant & Packaging activities.  Fills in for the Operations Manager in his absence.  Responsible for compliance with environmental law, policy, permitting requirements and reporting this information to the SHE Manager.  Responsible for coordination and compliance of departmental efforts for maintaining ISO 9001:2008 Certification.  Provide technical assistance when needed throughout the operation.

Responsible to ensure ISO 9001:2008 policy and procedures are initiated and maintained. Evaluate and maintain department training records/reviews per ISO 9001:2008 requirements.

Along with the senior lead plant operators, will supervise the activities of each of the production departments. Oversee the hiring and performance of personnel as required.  Coach and instruct new and existing employees to facilitate a motivated, capable production team.  Take responsibility for, and interact with other departments as needed, to provide work flow, scheduling, costs and methods to insure both quality and quantity of product requested by Customer Sales and provide the products necessary to make timely shipments to our Customers.
