Job Title: Production Support Officer

Report to: Production Support Supervisor

Business Unit: DNP

Location: Fengxian, Shanghai

The Challenge:

• B6 production comes along with very harmful and toxic substances such as carbon monoxide and cyanic acid but also teratogenic substances as for example formamide. The handling of these chemicals requires increased safety awareness and perfect training of all people involved, high technical safety standards and suitable safety procedures such emergency response plans and an emergency organization at the Xinghuo site.
• Regulatory requirements for GMP standards in plant design are increasingly adding complexity and cost. One of the major challenges is to fulfill regulations from external authorities (e.g. ICHQ7A), internal requirements as well as customer expectations without increasing costs to the same level of competition.
• The required technical availability of the plant is >95% asset utilization which is at the upper range of similar chemical production plants. Manufacturing at lowest costs has to achieved given the high cost pressure in the water soluble vitamins market. This requires daily review of operational parameters.
  

The Position:

• To work in a SHE & security responsible manner and report all SHE & security incidents. This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Follow the national and company regulations and standards
• Conscientiously participate safety training to improve safety operation skills
• Consciously follow the company safety regulations and any violation of the rules is forbidden
• Get to know the security policies & requirements; Actively participate in all security trainings to gain knowledge and improve awareness
• Follow the security requirements and report if not clear
• Execute company SHE, occupational hygiene, related security and emergency procedures
• Execute company work attendance rule
• Study operation skills and continuously improve self SHE & security awareness
• Report timely unsafe situations, any SHE/security accident, incident & near miss.

• Follow DSM security policy and requirements

• Knowing the requirements
• Active participation all security trainings to gain knowledge and improve awareness
• Following the requirements and report if not clear
• Report unsecure situations and security incidents

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of SAP/PCS system especially the production and manufacturing related modules.
• Assist to finish daily/monthly production data, prepare production statistics.
• Assist to finish SHE & quality related files and office administration, such as documentation, translation, label printing, attendance recording, etc.
• Strong focus on Manufex operations, act as maintenance gatekeeper from operations side.
• Take the overview of B6 department training as well as new employee training and mentor plan
• Address technical issues with technical departments (IP, SP, maintenance, R&D).
• Monitor MOCs as well as improve requests in the local trackwise database.
• Take an overview for tools purchasing budget and monitor purchasing progress.
• Take the role of MOC gatekeeper in B6 operation team.
• Be responsible for GMP support activities in production team.
• Be responsible for customer audit and government audit preparation, CAPA etc.
• Study 5S knowledge of XH Site and B6 plant. Be good sense of 5S and execute regular operation following 5S standard to keep plant clean, every tool sorting in order and make a good working environment.
• Implement other tasks appointed by line manager.
  

The Ideal:

• College/ equal college level or college above.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an asset, especially with a focus on GMP and high plant availability. Position can be adjusted for graduates.
• Good command of PC skills, good reading and written English skills and basic oral English.
• Good interpersonal skills.
