This is a co-op position which requires three alternating rotations (e. g. 1st rotation: spring, 2nd rotation: fall, 3rd rotation: summer).

This position will support Production System Strategy Team at Plant Spartanburg. The role provides a wide breadth of projects related to production strategy, structure planning, and data analytics in all areas of the plant. Key objectives include support of the teams’ core responsibilities and ownership/implementation of one project to be determined at the start of the rotation.

The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Innovation Use Case: project management and implementation.
• Industrialization: identification of further use cases as requested by departments.
• Prioritization: support of business case development to be used for prioritization.
• Data Analytics: deployment of Data Management and Governance Function in collaboration with IT to all plant departments
• Smart Logistics: AGV integration support for transportation devices in technologies and identification of future use cases.
• Think.Make.Start.: identification of problems and problem owners and pitch training for problem owners.

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical skills and advanced computer application knowledge.
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for Co-op positions. 
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (January 3rd until May 6th).
