About the role:
As a Production Team Manager, you will be responsible for successful product delivery to assigned clients. Your role would be to mentor and manage a team of experienced Project Managers and ensure client satisfaction and const effectiveness of assigned accounts.
What would you do:
- Strategize and optimize a production team able to support assigned accounts, with an eye to cost optimization
- Participate in strategic planning and strategic reviews, make recommendations on important business decisions
- Ensure effective resource allocation and production planning, prepare a budget
- Assign projects to Project Managers, approve project budget and check allocation of project costs, approve/reject project expenditure requests.
- Lead and motivate an international team of 6 experienced localization Project Managers, set performance goals, monitor KPIs
- In cooperation with Business Development and Account Management department, participate in creating the best solutions for clients in case of non-standard requirement
- Ensure that we are providing the best service to our client and that the delivery of projects is in line with client agreements - on time, in the required quality, within budget.
- Ensures compliance with corporate requirements for quality management, legal requirements and corporate values.
- In case of new client acquisition, lead the onboarding phase in cooperation with Account Management and Business Development department
- Monitor external and internal clients' satisfaction.
- Regularly follow localization industry news and trends
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in the localization industry
- 2+ years experience in a managerial role, preferably with experience in leading international team
- Fluent business English
- Excellent data analysis excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros, deduplication, etc.)
- Experience with and excellent understanding of CAT tools and workflow automation systems.
