Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Production Technician III to join our 1st Shift team. This position is based at our Wilsonville, OR location. This is a direct, full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start. Position Overview: The Production Technician III will perform a wide range of skilled assembly to produce a quality product in a timely manner. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions. In this function you will: Perform all duties expected of a Tech II Perform direct labor work within your area of responsibility, including flexing to other parts of the line, as needed. Must be proficient (as defined by the cross-training matrix) Must be able to flex to work on at least one other product line. Must be trained (as defined by the cross-training matrix) Assist with providing training, instruction, and guidance to new employees and other individuals in the assigned area of the line Support employee led Kaizen Events and Rapid Improvement Events Qualifications Required Qualifications: 2 years’ experience at PPC or equivalent manufacturing experience with power distribution equipment (exceptions may be considered if business conditions require it) No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Wilsonville, OR in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship Preferred qualifications: Forklift, Crane or Elevated Work Equipment certification Position Criteria: Full knowledge and understanding of Kanban system Certified to operate overhead cranes or forklifts LOTO certified Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, change notices, Kanban Experience using hot sheet, DMRs and NCRs Why work at Eaton?
