Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance and safety of factories and the quality of production
• Following up on non-compliances found in an audit and ensure that corrective actions are implemented
• Approving and sign-off Green Seal samples according to quality, safety and legal standards
• Carrying out pre-production meetings so that the factory has a clear understanding of the production process, ensuring that all relevant components are available for bulk production
• Implementing Tesco quality systems at every stage of production
• Ensuring that all my factories are technically audited and approved in line with Tesco's policies
• Evaluating and ensuring that production meets approved sealed standards

Requirement:

• 5 years or more experience in the garment or textile industry, preferable in buying office;
• Graduate in garment manufacturing or textile technology;
• Knowledge of garments, garment manufacturing and technology;
• Ability to make and correct patterns and improve fit;
• Good communication skills
• Experience in working with buyers and technical people both face to face and by video conference/conference call
• Experience in factory operations, assessments and inspection processes;
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin;
• IT skills, proficient in MS office
