Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Production Trainer to join our team. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN location. Relocation assistant will not be provided. Position Overview: The Production Trainer is responsible taking a proactive role in planning, developing, and delivering training and product communications that align with business goals and improves organizational performance. The main contact for all and any questions regarding safety and proper production guidelines. Work with other members of the facility as well to make sure all steps are being taken to meet quality standards after the standard training period. In this function you will: Take a proactive role in planning, developing, and delivering training and product communications that align with business goals and improves organizational performance Serve as the key partner in creating and delivering creative and engaging learning solutions to include instructor-led training, eLearning, webinars, job aids, and other relevant training materials Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions for business impact and scalability Take the initiative, work on your own, and be innovative and creative with course/communications design and facilitation Develop collaborative partnerships with functional leads, subject matter experts and stakeholders, regarding content development Demonstrate the ability to design, develop and deliver learning solutions (e.g., web-based, in-person, video-based training) that are exciting, fun, and transformative Interact and communicate effectively, with strong presentation skills to engage participants Be familiar with new learning technologies for new and creative employee experience Show responsibility and accountability for the success of assigned projects and deliverables Have a high-energy, positive attitude and collaborative work style Understand the principles of education in an industrial environment Run production when not training Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications: At least 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with machine operation Ability to document and create training programs with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel) Familiar with communicating specific training guidelines when it comes to daily job duties Preferred machine operation experience would be on punch presses What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
