Department of Cultural and Religious Studies
The Department invites application for a Professional Consultant (Cultural Management). Applicants should have (i) a Master’s degree or above in arts or a relevant field; (ii) at least 10 year’ post-qualification working experience in cultural management, including some experience in teaching cultural management; (iii) preferably experience in academic planning and curriculum development in cultural management; (iv) preferably good international and regional network, with China in particular; (v) active involvement with local arts scene, knowledgeable in local arts development and cultural policy; and (vi) fluency in English and Chinese writing, preferably experience in critical writing.
The appointee will (a) teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses; and (b) help manage the MA Programme in Cultural Management.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years commencing August 2021, renewable subject to budget, performance and mutual agreement.
