Job Description

The focus of Retail Collections department is loss mitigation through the negotiating with customer to reach a payment arrangement. If payment arrangements are not possible the department is responsible for taking actions that reduces the potential credit loss for Daimler Financial Services.

The owner of the position stewards self responsible under the business scope of the customers assigned to them. The aim is to minimize risks, failures and losses by considering and respecting all internal and external requirements.

    Your tasks will be:
  • Negotiate with retail customers to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears by using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Use negotiation tools to determine a customers reason for delinquency
  • Provide proactive thinking to utilize internal tool kit to assist customer in determining the proper resolution (payment, restructure, voluntary surrender)
  • Provide restructuring agreements to qualified customers.
  • Updating customer data
  • Responsibility for coordination of external service providers
  • Statistical analysis

    Professional qualification:
  • Completed bank or commercial education or additional qualification desirable
  • Strong experience in debt collection and customer service
  • Experience in conflict resolution and customer retention
  • Experience in working in a call center environment
  • Proficient user of MS Office tools
  • Fluent French language skills
  • Advanced English language skills

This is a full-time job (also suitable for part-time), temporary for 12 Month(s) in shift work.
