The School of Journalism and Communication is seeking a senior faculty member (Professor / Associate Professor, tenured or tenure-track) in global media and communication studies. We are looking for a colleague who has a robust research agenda in the broad field of global media and communication studies (including but not limited to: media production and labor; global media industries; or culture and communication) and can contribute to the teaching of our Master of Arts in Global Communication programme and Bachelor of Social Science in Global Communication programme. We welcome candidates using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods approaches and a variety of theoretical orientations.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD in Communication or other related field; (ii) strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research; and (iii) a proven record of research and publications in major journals.
