Job Overview

The Program Assistant supports Shorelight Live programs, which offer hybrid higher education programs that combine the traditional, immersive U.S. university experience with technology-enabled, in-country, live-lecture learning. The position will facilitate live classes through the operation of interactive classroom technology, coordination across remote program management teams and other relevant student services.

Responsibilities

• Audit live lecture sessions and facilitate classroom activities as instructed by academic team
• Coordinate with local operations team to provide technical support during live lectures
• Prepare classroom materials as instructed by academic team
• Provide language support as necessary during live lectures
• Manage student success by actively monitoring student performance providing feedback to program teams
• Participate in training as necessary
• Provide other student services as needed

Qualifications

• Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and professional proficiency in English required (preferably IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 90+)
• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of full-time work experience; experience in education industry preferred
• Energetic and motivated professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work late hours (6pm-11pm) Monday to Thursday every week
• Eligibility to work in China without sponsorship
