The OSM Program Office Manager - PMO is responsible for overseeing and delivering core governance and control support to the wider program, with the support of the centralized OSM Governance Office. The role reports directly to Global OSM Manager under discretion New-Build Program Director and may lead a small team.

This is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE) position and the location is Arizona  and relocation assistance will be provided.

As a Program Management Office (PMO) Manager - OSM (Off-Site Manufacturing) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Own, establish, deliver and embed the OSM Program Management Office in support of all site projects for a major construction investment on behalf of Intel.
  • Integrate multiple site programs and projects to ensure continuous alignment to the site strategy, have scope clarity across phases as well as key dependencies and critical paths are identified and comprehended.
  • Own all OSM governance and control documents across the OSM Construction Project Lifecycle, such as the OSM Project Execution Plan, OSM Stage Gate Reports, and status reports.
  • Facilitate key OSM Governance and Control meetings, ensuring alignment to agenda, and driving ownership for outcomes and actions.
  • Responsible for the establishment of site OSM project and program governance (policies, procedures, etc..), in line with Intel's good practice, and ensure ongoing alignment to the OSM Management Plan.
  • Drive the OSM cadence and pace needed for OSM execution success.
  • Own OSM program performance indicators, and the delivery of meaningful reporting to inform decision making.
  • Collect, synthesize and analyze OSM project data and information to enable OSM program transparency and appropriate decision making at all levels of the team.
  • Use the data to understand the OSM problem and provide recommended solutions to the OSM execution team.
  • Own overall OSM communication management plan, which includes updates to the project, its customers, and the winder organization.
  • Own and drive proactive OSM Risk Management, to improve the likelihood of OSM project success.
  • Drive Continuous OSM improvement (Tools, processes, technology, business intelligence, and other levers of value) to continue to hone the way we effectively deliver projects for Intel.
  • Support the Global OSM Manager and New-Built Program Director's staff, by continually looking over the time horizons to prepare the team for future work.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Engineering or Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
  • Masters with 4+ years of experience in Engineering or Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A qualification in project management or credentials towards such a qualification (e.g. PMBoK, APM, or a post graduate certificate in Project Management).
  • Experience in:
    • Mega projects (upwards of 1B dollars) such as Construction, Oil/Gas, Mining, Rail, Manufacturing, or other similar.
    • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
