Who You'll Work Wiith IDG (Intelligent Device Group) – The IDG at Lenovo houses our PC and Smart Devices.  We combine investment in high-growth segments (workstations, gaming, visuals, thin and light devices) with new innovation in the smart device categories and continue to explore new opportunities across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security and as-a-service solutions. The Program Manager will be responsible for bringing new features that leverage retails point solutions offered by Lenovo’s business groups in addition to market for the centralized applications hosted on Lenovo’s Artificial Intelligence Brain. Primary Responsibilities Include: Project Management: • establish and track project plans, ensuring timely execution • communicate schedules and plans to executive management; manage project expense and capital budget; participate in resource planning; manage open source aspect of projects; • Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance. • Participating in and supervising each stage of the project. • Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines. • Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible. • Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion. • Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests through JIRA or other project tracking/management application(s) • Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information. • Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products' performance. Manage Risk and Resources: • resolve issues that arise during project lifecycle • interlock dependencies and execution plans with multiple Lenovo cross- functional teams (platform development, product assurance, product engineering, hardware platform and I/O development teams) • Provide direction to the System Management Offering Development Team (ODT), manage Software Security Review Board (SSRB), and lead necessary deliverables required for Solutions Assurance processes. The successful candidate will: • Have a proven track record of bringing hardware/software products and bundled solutions to market • Possess a customer-service orientation, attention to detail and creativity in solving design problems. • Works independently on projects, manage day-to-day assignments and collaborate as a proactive team leader. • Be able to work in a fast-paced global environment and meet aggressive deadlines. • Possess a positive attitude and high standards for creative executions. • Have a strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction. • Exhibit ability to work on several projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently. • Have fine attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate end- results. • Demonstrate creativity in problem solving. • Adhere to Lenovo’s quality standards and guidelines Why Lenovo? Learn more about why it’s great to work at Lenovo - https://www.lenovobenefits.com/why-join-lenovo #### Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree • Over 10 years in product development/program management • Familiar with the operation of IoT-related industry alliances and standardization organizations • Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar. • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization. • A deep understanding of key IoT concepts and technologies. • The ideal candidate will have a background that enables them to drive engagement and interact at the executive level, as well as a technical background to work with both our engineering teams and customers building solutions with our tools. • Once safe to do so - able to travel domestic and international.
