Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1) Lead “Manufacturing cross functional” team for NPI activity to meet NPI target. As Shenzhen key contact windows for New Product.
2) Plan, organize, and orchestrate all validation and NPI build activities. Facilitate ramp management with operations teams
3) Setup new project team, Lead kick off meeting , trigger NPI activity and draft NPI schedule
4) Organize capital review, submit CEA application, track CEA status.
5) Oversee material readiness ( supply , QM & QP , RMI status, etc.)
6) Oversee the validation of all factory systems (Agile, SAP, Oracle, PCAS, Factory Work, etc.), Documents (VR, WI, VI, GR&R) in regards to preparation launch
7) Manufacturing readiness review for each NPI build and each gate, organization and follow-up of key open points/actions.
8) WIP movement management for each NPI build.
9) Publish weekly project status, highlight the Schedule, Machine setup status, Yield, Resource, Issues, Mitigation plan, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. At least a Bachelor Degree holder and/or above, major in Engineering/Science
2. At least 8 years of experiences in Program Management and/or Engineering Management
3. Production Operations Knowledge - Has a firm understanding of how complex production lines operate including key items such as industrial workings between facilities/departments, line balance, OEE, error proofing, etc.
4. Background in manufacturing/industrial engineering required; supply chain highly desired
5. Understanding of how the manufacturing validation process runs in relation to complex new products that stretch across various engineer teams and manufacturing centers/factories (methodology, validation plans, associated KPIs)
6. Great understanding of design for manufacturability, process design, process validation, and assembly methods
7. Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings or CAD models
8. Strong interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of an organization. Able to effectively and confidently communicate to senior and executive level leadership
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
10. Well versed with common workplace software (word processor, spreadsheet, database, etc). Excellent organizational skills
11. Able to be a creative thinker and devise creative solutions to complicated problems
12. Excellent problem solving skills; adverse in various problem solving methodologies
13. Team player; ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams
