Job Description

Program Manager 

 

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with strong Localization experience in Program Management,   
                                               
Management of all levels of Project Managers, within their team, ensuring they are working effectively and developing their skills/competences. The Program Manager is also the main primary interface with key clients in their team and they carry full responsibility for delivering against the revenue and profitability targets assigned.
 

  • Compile accurate information for approval of quotes/proposals, including detailed notes.
  • Close financial monitoring of projects i.e. budgets, change orders, invoices and payments.
  • Prepare project plans/flow,  account summaries and follow optimal process and methodology while accessing risk.
  • Provide excellent communication flows and quality control with the client, team and network offices.
  • Following guidelines for accurate compilation and approval of all project schedules.
  • Establishing metric-based Quarterly Business Reviews and conducting these reviews with all key customers.
  • Weekly status reports, conference calls and managing meetings.
  • File and archive all project related materials appropriately.
  • Monitor, mentor and motivate Project Managers and providing training and development opportunities for Associate Project Managers.
  • Identify process advancements and technology opportunities.
  • Resolve client and project issues with a high level of service.
  • Analyze accounts and provide financial planning.
  • Ensure effective escalation processes are established and used by all team members.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Life Sciences preferred.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in hands-on localization project management 
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of localization process including: software engineering, DTP, graphics, translation, testing, internationalization, multimedia and extensive knowledge of translation and workflow tools and process.
  • Strong employee management, including: leadership,  motivation, mentoring and assessment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
