If so, the AI Platform team in COSINE is the right team for you! Our mission is to empower every developer, inside and outside of Microsoft, to be able to create and deploy AI workloads, leveraging the full power and breadth of the hardware ecosystem on Windows. We partner with teams across the company, alongside hardware & software vendors to deliver platform investments for AI scenarios on Windows devices, built upon a deep understanding of customer needs, ecosystem investments, and our evolving device landscape. One of these investments, the Windows ML API, currently powers hardware-accelerated AI for multiple different user-facing scenarios on Windows, including as Photo tagging and Handwriting recognition.
Our team is looking for a Program Manager that shows a deep level of customer obsession in his/her decision making process, as well as strong understanding of key business drivers. The ideal candidate should be able to manage decision making in evolving and ambiguous situations, and capable of translating customer needs into clear, scoped, and well prioritized plans for our engineering teams. This person will drive new incubations with high impact potential across Windows.

Drive end to end scenarios that will push our AI platform forward. This includes:
Working with customers & partners, both internally and externally, in order to identify key asks/problems/opportunities for the team.
Ability to prioritize those asks and scope specific goals and requirements for each one, as well as define how success will be measured.
Understanding key business drivers for the team, and being able to build alignment between customer asks and business priorities.
Supporting the engineering team during design, implementation and testing, making sure results are met.
Partnering across groups to deliver smooth integrations of our ML components within other technology stacks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Program Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to handle ambiguity and drive clarity to the team
Proven experience collaborating across disciplines and broad teams
Prior experience in ML is not required, but you will find it useful in this role.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
