This role is in the Quality & Customer Obsession Team – think of a data scientist meets engineer role. You should be curious about data and how to extract valuable and useful information from telemetry as well as process direct user feedback in an automated fashion to derive insights and help highlight customer health. Microsoft is doubling down on ensuring we ship the highest quality releases to our customers.
Responsibilities
As a member of the team you will:
- Partner with engineering, other markets, and tools team to reduce customer DSATs and increase product adoption.
- Drill down into feedback data to provide valuable insights that will be used to improve customer experience through bug fixes and feature requests.
- Drive customer satisfaction and engagement by identifying necessary and relevant feature additions.
- Advocate for our customers.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Natural sense of curiosity regarding data
- The kind of person who asks questions, drills down, and asks more questions
- Experience in a software test engineering and/or support role is a plus
- Proven skills and experience in gathering, analyzing and reporting on telemetry data preferred
- Experience working with web services, high scale services and technologies preferred
- Familiarity with Cosmos and Scope scripts is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- C#, HTML5, java script, and/or other relevant web development experience
