On the Bing Ads Publisher team, we build high scale services that publishers, advertisers and drive towards efficient and fair marketplace for publisher partners to grow revenue and market share. As a Program Manager, you will shape our product every day. You will partner with and inspire our development team to deliver significant value to our customers and business. Besides working with these technical peers, you will also work well with non-engineering disciplines such as our Business Groups, Business Development, Sales, and Support - you will leverage and collaborate with them to keep a close pulse on our customers, define best-in-class experiences, communicate our vision and roadmap externally, take changes to market and then measure the impact they had on our customers and business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive GTM strategy, product roadmap and requirements to help drive advertiser ROI and Supply/Partner Quality Management areas by taking the feedback from customers and work closely with various teams, including engineering and science teams, marketplace operation teams, business development & business group teams, and account management teams
  • Define and own success metrics and key performance indicators to the supply quality areas, lead the team with insights and data, perform analysis to develop product insights, identify opportunities for product improvements and new initiatives
  • Review, analyze, interpret new algo/algo improvement impact and provide recommendations.
  • Drive algo area team dependencies and partner team/stakeholder alignments, and coordinate across disciplines
  • Drive program management across engineering and science teams on the delivery of the roadmap. Manage new algo/feature GTM (Go To Market) communications/activities for partner teams, various of stakeholders internally and externally

 

Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar engineering disciplines
  • 3-4 years of experience in data science role
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with analytics/data scientist/applied researcher/coding experience and keen business acumen
  • Ability to drive technical investigations and prototyping in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong verbal, writing and communication skills


Pluses

  • Domain knowledge of online advertising and marketplaces
  • Knowledge of Machine learning/NLP
  • Experience in software development in an online/web services environment
