Job Description
To manage all Project co-ordinators, Associates and Project Managers, within their team, ensuring they are working effectively and developing their skills/competences. The Program Manager is also the main primary interface with key clients in their team and they carry full responsibility for delivering against the revenue and profitability targets assigned.
Main Duties
 
  1. Ensuring accurate compilation and approval of quotes/proposals, including detailed notes sections
  2. Close financial monitoring of projects i.e. budgets, change orders, invoicing, payments
  3. Ensuring correct process and methodology is used on all projects including risk assessment
  4. Ensure excellent communication flows with the client, team and Network Offices at all times
  5. Ensuring accurate compilation and approval of all project schedules
  6. Establishing metric-based Quarterly Business Reviews with all key customers
  7. Weekly status reports, conference calls, managing meetings
  8. Ensuring accurate filing and archiving of all project related materials
  9. Quality control of all project activities, either in-house or in Network Offices
  10. Monitoring, mentoring and motivation of project managers, coordinators and associates
  11. Training and development of new and junior members of team
  12. Preparation of project plans, account summaries, project flows and risk assessment processes.
  13. Identification of process advancements and technology opportunities
  14. Resolution of all client and project issues
  15. Account analysis and financial planning
  16. Ensure effective escalation processes are established and used by all team members
  17. Recruitment and selection of new team members

Person Specification
Skills and Experience
 
Desirable
  1. Educated to Degree Level in either Computer Science or a business related area
  2. 5 years + experience in hands-on project management of large, complex IT projects
  3. Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  4. Advanced knowledge of all aspects of localisation process including software engineering, DTP, graphics, translation, testing, internationalisation, multimedia and extensive knowledge of translation and workflow tools and process
  5. Good mentoring and people management skills
  6. Analytical and structured problem solving abilities
  7. Flexibility and the ability to travel
