SUMMARY

• To lead and support the project management activities esp. for quotation phase for CMC and all plants in China

• To consult on projects regarding procedure, tools, reporting sustain, improvement and standardization for quotation phase

• To support and to coordinate with sales team about inquiry of customer inputs not only for risk identification of timing for project but also confirmation of finance issue at the very beginning

• To support & coordinate with controlling & R&D, production for internal cost control and confirmation during quotation phase

• To support or maintain the EBIT or cost change during project running
  

• To be familiar with cost structure of exited product, applied projects, current volume and be quick respond to management during the quotation phase

• To be familiar with Inalfa project management process, milestone, key tech. request that can collect all information for project at the quotation phase and do risk identification from cost, timing and quality

• To coordinate with R&D to evaluate the current status according to R&D’s technological suggestion and products at Inalfa, whether it could be replaced by other existed products so that to avoid redundant efforts and to reduce cost, to use economical methods so as to meet customer request

• To confirm the cost / EBIT calculation with controlling & sales team during project phase, to be responsible for QWS input for each project

• To confirm with the sales team about commercial information e.g. volume, price, payment, consignment warehouse etc.

• To share the information with purchasing team in advance to get updated information from suppliers and decide whether to assign further requests to suppliers or require new supplier.

• To coach and guide the handover project from quotation phase to real product development phase

• To improve & maintain processes and procedures for project management quotation and to offer trainings to other departments when required

• To support PM to track & analyze cost & EBIT change during project running

• To support the Internal & External Audit

• Lessons learned collection & application for quotation phase

• Reports and analysis of project status for quotation phase for management

• Reporting and tracking cost & EBIT change during project running
  

MAIN TASKS

• To support calculation activities, to conduct creative discussion with production plant calculator, and to approach further cost reduction possibility from R&D and PM organizations.

• To keep permanent efficient dialogs with Sales team from Business Development about overseas, JV and local projects, to support BD winning further OE business and/or to conduct price negotiation.

• To join Gateway meeting for quotation phase with BD team together

• To collect all information and documents at the beginning of project for later smooth handover to project manager.

• To finish monthly report to management team regarding the project status of quotation phase

• To organize internal meeting for preparation with all functional teams

• To make business trips to customer and to acknowledge their requirements; to negotiate with our clients about activities with potential risk that Inalfa involves in terms of cost, quality and timing.

• To input QWS of each project into system (project module in Info 10) on time

• At the supervisor’s request, the employee must fulfill one’s duties so that becomes a necessary personnel whose efforts match the position.
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/master for mechanical, automotive engineering or finance, economic & business etc

• Over 5 years working experience in the field in international or multinational company, the experience in automotive industry is preferred.

• Good English in both oral and written
  

OTHERS

• Special authorizations and responsibility (power of procuration, power of attorney, permanent representation etc.) depends on current situation and management decision, will be documented if necessary.
