Airbnb is seeking an Admin Program Manager to play a leading role working within the global Admin Community.  This role will be responsible for managing the programs for the Admin org while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the collective Admin Community is set up for success.  To be effective in this role you’ll need to be comfortable working with leaders across the company and up to the E-team level while having an active pulse of the working challenges that may go on in the day-to-day admin world.  You’re also skilled at managing several programs simultaneously and can bring to light more effective ways of working and key insights using data and leveraging stakeholder feedback.  This is an individual contributor role and will report directly to the Global Head of Operations who also serves as the executive sponsor for the global admin community.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executives and the E-team EA community and various executive leaders to establish Admin community priorities that support the overall business objectives of the company and Admin organization. 
  • Identify and execute a broad strategy and specific initiatives to support growth and development for the admin community. 
  • Plan and facilitate regular global Admin meetings to communicate key updates and initiatives while gathering in-the-moment feedback from the Admin population.  
  • Oversee the Admin operating system and communication channels (email distributions and slack channel) and admin working groups (making space for admins across Airbnb to continue to contribute to the community and get involved where they are interested; meetings, events, etc.)
  • Manage Admin budget in support of function activities, recognition and professional development while working with the global Admin Executive Sponsor for approval. 
  • Maintain the global Admin roster and partner with members of the Talent Partner community to keep them informed of pending roster changes and guide organizational planning. 
  • In partnership with EX Talent leaders, support the governance of the Admin Guidelines; and suggest revisions where necessary based upon business needs and community development. 
  • Partner with members of the Talent Partner community to revise career framework and leveling guidelines when necessary. 
  • Single point of contact internally for the Admin community (Ground Control, FP&A, BizTech, etc.). 
  • Support admin resources, such as the development and maintenance of an internal Admin Wiki
  • Manage the design and delivery of the Floating Admin Program and ensure program effectiveness in support of leaders and current admins seeking to appropriately manage existing workload. 
  • Create and maintain a centralized onboarding process and related resources for the Admin community. 
  • In partnership with recruiting and talent ensure consistent messaging regarding internal admin opportunities 
  • In partnership with E-team EAs foster connection/belonging/ recognition moments ie Admin Day
  • Manage and support the Admin Gigs and mentor program and analyze program effectiveness against established objectives designed for admin development.
  • Support the Eteam EA’s with global admin mentorship and development and source appropriate resources that can contribute to community growth.
  • Analyze program data to identify learning opportunities, develop new programs or modify and improve existing programs.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience in a senior administrative role with experience supporting a leader at the CSuite level strongly preferred
  • Ability to make and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including peers, leaders and manage diverse stakeholders across all of the work.
  • Project management experience working with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to solve a wide range of complex problems.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, along with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Intrinsically motivated, highly independent and driven self starter. 
  • Exhibits positivity, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgment
  • Strong business acumen, ability to connect dots and proactively gain direct insight into different facets of the business.
  • Experience with end-to-end program management 

The starting base pay for this role is between $150,000 and $185,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
