This exciting role offers opportunity to: This role assumes leadership & accountability for new product introduction for electrification applications. The incumbant shall work closely with the engineering managers and leadership stakeholders to define the program scope, timelines and cost targets. He / She drives the project in stage gate fashion with clear definition of delieverables, detailed milestones, cross functional team schedules, commercials and work package approvals by decision gate committee in each gate. He / She adept in early identification of risks from technology, execution and commercial areas of the project and mobilize resources and necessary support for timely and effective mitigation. Vehicle domain knowledge is preferable and experience in automotive Tier-1 program management would be very valuable for this role's success. Qualifications Requirement – Bachelors in Mechnical / Electrical domain, Masters in Engineering or MBA in product management / international business preferred 8+ years of experience with multinational automotive Tier-1 / OEM in Program / Product Management, launch, and localization Stage Gate Project Management, Automotive OEM - Supply tier structure knowledge, Work & interact with global cross-functional and cross-cultural team. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate, negotiate, handling conflicting stands with internal/external customers and suppliers. Work with engineering managers, poroduct strategy managers to define the NPI scope, timelines, budget and customer delivery terms / location Assess the risks in critical areas of the project execution such as engineering technology, manufacturability, commercials and regulations Understand the cost & business model structure of the respective products and document the change points that imapct the product cost Work with engineering managers / technical leads to understand the technical value proposition and link with commercial positioning through PSM Estimate the budget for non-recurring expenses and capital expense for the project. Key in customer funded opportunities to build budget options Prepare master project schedule that inclusive of cross funcational team's milestones covering engineering, scm, manufacturing, quality etc. Manage program in a stage-gate fashion per PROLaunch process Demonstrated experience in managing a end to end project management in automotive domain either in conventional / mechatronic systems Demonstrated experience in risk registering, management and retirements with varietry of cross functional team involvement Adept in conflict resolution, negotiation and team work, should have strong collaboration & partnership to manage projects in a matrix orgnaization PMP certification is highly desirable for this position Yes!
