WHAT YOU’LL DO 

As a Program Manager for the Strategic Operations Systems group, you will use your project/program management expertise and operations experience to drive high-impact and strategic programs  in the cardiac implantable medical device business.  You will lead cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, R&D, supply chain, IT, facilities and production to execute projects that drive organizational change and grow capacity in operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage program of multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Oversee of all phases of the project management from Initiation to Closure.
  • Develop and manage project plan including ensuring clarity of scope, realistic timelines, adequate resources, and maintenance of project budget.
  • Document project plan in Project Management software and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage cross-functional project timeline and drive project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Proactively identify and manage project opportunities/issues/risks.
  • Resolve project team conflicts and drive timely decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives and internal end users.
  • Create and deliver project review presentations.
  • Take ownership of hands-on management and tracking of overall team progress and provide detailed project status reports and updates.
  • Drive for results and accountability within self and others.

  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline appropriate to the project environment.
  • Minimum of five to eight years relevant experience in leadership/project management roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent ability to plan, organize and problem solve.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft products – Excel, Power Point, MS Project.

Preferred 

  • Demonstrated Leadership and/or Project Management in an FDA regulated or regulated industry (e.g. aerospace).  Medical device experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing operations projects or familiarity in manufacturing/production environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience/familiarity with Windchill, SAP, and MES systems a plus.
  • Experienced at leading complex programs delivering milestones on time and on budget with quality per customer expectations.
  • Skilled in project planning, risk management, project execution and communication to all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactive continuous improvement of business processes.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership with a hands-on approach, and excellent decision making and prioritizing ability.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar.
