What We Do

Azure Monitor - Application Insights is a all-in-one telemetry solution integral to your development experience, providing application performance monitoring and diagnostics. It offers easy to use search and analytics capabilities over large sets of data, to help you continuously improve your application, prioritize future investments, and improve overall customer experience. App Insights’ target audience includes developers, dev leads, product managers and dev-ops developing/managing apps in .NET C#, Java, Node, Python, Javascript. We are making it super simple for developers and devops to observe their apps, their services, and their things to delight their customers and grow their business.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Identifying customer feature requirements for Azure Monitor for Application insights and other top Azure services
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and developments in CNCF as it relates to Kubernetes, containers, microservices and monitoring
  • Analyze competition and drive differentiation of our offering
  • Prioritization of features across 1st party and 3rd party requirements from customers and partner teams
  • Design easy to use intuitive user experience for the monitoring application and services
  • Work closely with engineering to plan and implement the features
  • Strategy, roadmap, and semester planning for Azure Monitor Application monitoring
  • Effectively communicating strategy and goals and how they align to the team’s work.
  • Build / Measure / Learn methodology and drive feature backed by hypothesis and validation
  • Define and track usage telemetry of features and use it drive improvements in the product
  • Representing the products at various conferences and closely work with Field and Marketing to drive adoption

 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Program Management

Preferred Qualifications:Experienced in driving strategic, cross organization initiatives while partnering with various Azure teams

  • Strong experience in program management or product management shipping enterprise products
  • Computer Science degrees, or engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience is highly desired.
  • Experience delivering cloud services on Linux, OSS, Container platforms and understanding of how to work in open source projects and standard is a big plus
  • Experience shipping developer, IT pro, or enterprise-oriented frontend UX
  • Working knowledge of performing market analysis, competitive tear-downs and customer research to validate project priorities and direction.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of cloud services and Cloud Native development practices.
