Job Description

As Program Manager in the Partnerships Strategy Team, you’ll be responsible to support the leadership team for the B2B Partnerships channel within Booking.com’s Marketing organisation. This will involve helping set the strategic direction, overseeing critical strategic projects end-to-end, working across various functions and departments, and owning overall business operations and processes (e.g., planning and prioritisation).

You will work closely with the leadership team (LT) and senior management of Partnerships to help define vision, set strategy, and facilitate both short- and long-term planning of the department. As an individual contributor, you will have substantial autonomy and influence as you identify, initiate, and execute global strategic projects and build new processes to address complex problems that deliver high commercial impact. You will also help communicate with stakeholders across other departments within Booking.com, as well as leaders in other Booking Holdings brands (Priceline, Rocketmiles, Agoda).

To be successful in this role, you will need deep experience on projects of global scope and management of cross-functional groups -- from concept, through to execution, data analysis, recommendation and implementation.

B.Responsible

  • Own the successful end-to-end delivery (identification, analysis, recommendation, implementation, communication) of complex, high-impact, and global strategic projects
  • Apply structured methodology to and lead project/program/change management activities across teams (including leadership, analytics, commercial, product, finance), holding members accountable for delivery on complex problems
  • Lead and support major business operations processes (e.g., planning and prioritisation), looking for opportunities to improve processes over time
  • Leverage data to inform key strategic decisions
  • Engage and influence stakeholders both inside Partnerships and across Booking Holdings, communicating progress, results, and insights along the way

B.Skilled

  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management in commercial environment
  • Highly structured thinker, able to identify root causes of complex problems, establish clear project scopes, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
  • Highly organized, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics, and eager to bring structure to complex and often nebulous strategic projects
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability effectively influence others in 1:1 and small groups
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (both within a team and with wider stakeholders)
  • Familiarity with project/change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience managing key business operations processes (e.g., planning and prioritisation), with experience in consulting a strong plus
