Job Description
Job Summary Manages an Integrated Program Team using clear methodology to Plan, Track & Execute to achieve program objectives. Leverages core project management skills, anticipates challenges and makes proactive adjustments to meet commitments. Planning - Locks down requirements and develops comprehensive program management plans to achieve objectives and meet commitments. Program Management Plan includes Scope, Budget, WBS, Schedule, Resource, Risk Management, Capital, Communications, etc. Resource Management - Executes effective resource management of allocated human and material resources. Responsible for working with Team members and resource managers to ensure allocations meet program needs and any gaps are identified and effectively mitigated or escalated. Scope Management - Baselines the program, manages the requirements and considers the full business scenario to effectively control & navigate scope challenges. Phase Gate Methodology - Ensures that all members of the Program Team execute the program plan in adherence with standard phase gate methodology. Risk, Issues & Opportunity Management - Understands risk reserve methodology, proactively mitigates program risks and takes advantage of opportunities. Job Responsibilities Ability to execute Pursuit / Pre-Gate 0 work and also Prolaunch projects for TCP product line. Execute integrated program manager role from initiating, planning, executing, control and closing. Closely work with the Product Strategy manager to understand the pursuit requirements and execute the project in pre gate 0 timelines. Understand the market/ customer requirements and prepare a strategy of the business win. Collaborate with the cross functional team including global engineering, advanced engineering & global pursuit manager (EV). Ensure project charter, project contract, resource map, communication plan, project plan and other required documents are available and updated. Ensure proper scope with in/out requirements is documented with the customer approval. Scope management plan in place and adhered to. Collaborate with internal partners including Business Management and Solutions, Product Design, Portfolio Management, Sales, Legal, Sales Strategy and Communications, Competitive Research, Finance, Compliance, Operations and Marketing Plan and manage business case. Has understanding of cost estimates, cost baseline techniques and can implement the same for projects. Plan, manage and control communication plan for the project life cycle. Has proven and extremely good communication skills. Build a strong pipeline of talent by developing and nurturing the team.
