Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the vetting and monitoring of R&D projects and program administration
  • To provide professional executive support services for various committees
  • To provide secretarial support for Centre’s funding program and related operations such as drafting meeting minutes and general report writing.
  • To contribute strategically and operationally to the achievement of LSCM objectives by delivering program and project management services across LSCM R&D projects
  • To plan, direct, and coordinate activities of R&D projects to ensure the accomplishment of project goals within prescribed timeframes and funding parameters
  • Organize and participate into periodic project review meetings among internal parties, Governmental bodies, Universities and other outside parties.
  • The candidate is required to contribute in the Centre’s Marketing activities such as Annual Summit, promotional roadshow(s) and local exhibition(s).

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of program and projects management experience with proven record in managing technology-related projects with ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Tertiary qualification(s) with degree of Business Administration, Computer or Information Technology, and/or Information/Electronics/ Manufacturing/Industrial/Systems Engineering is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to serve or provide secretariat support in meeting minutes, business letters and report writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Good presentation skills and capable to explain technical information in a persuasive way.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
  • Ability to coach, motivate and develop others
  • Good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Chinese Word Processing
  • Candidate(s) with past experience in public sector(s), NGOs or semi-governmental bodies is an added advantage
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
