We are seeking a Programmatic Media Buyer. The programmatic team sits alongside our media planning group and works to execute against strategies per client. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with programmatic media buying or ad operations, is a great communicator, and is ready to lead a team implementing programmatic media buys across the agency.
Responsibilities
1. Drive agency strategy around programmatic through technology platforms
2. Evaluate and recommend current and potential technology partners
3. Setup, manage and optimize different types of Programmatic inventory via multiple Demand Side Platforms
4. Maintain relationships with programmatic vendors
5. Manage costs incurred and revenue generated from buying platforms
6. Oversee implementation of all programmatic media campaigns
7. Produce and present engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing and media optimization and management.
8. Provide insight and guidance to members of the Integrated Media team.
9. Maintain and stay current about industry news and research
Skills & Requirements
1. At least one year hands on experience with one or more of the following media technology tools: DSPs, SSPs, ad-servers, ad-exchanges, retargeting tools, Facebook advertising, Google Display Network
2. 2+ years of experience in digital media
3. Experience with any of the following tools is a plus: DataXu, Quantcast, TubeMogul, Doubleclick
4. Strong background of digital media ad units including digital display, video, mobile and social.
5. Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and/or communications preferred
6. Possess and demonstrate a deep and current knowledge of Digital trends and strategy within a marketing advertising environment
