Department of Education Studies

The Department is looking for qualified candidates to coordinate school practicum in local primary and secondary schools for undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education programmes. The appointee will also teach at least one of the following courses: (i) Classroom Management & Communication; (ii) Curriculum & Assessment; (iii) Philosophical Foundations of Education; (iv) Social Foundations of Education; and (v) Teacher Self Development.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in fields related to Education; and
• at least three years of teaching experience in school settings.

Qualified candidate will be appointed at a rank equivalent to Lecturer I/II, carrying the functional title as advertised.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing September 2020. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
