Job Description

Requirements:

• Degree graduate, preferably in Education, Training, Language, Social Work
• Preferably with some relevant working experience
• Skilled in activities and programme design, implementation and evaluation
• English (Syllabus B in HKCEE) and Chinese at Grade E in HKCEE/Level 2 (Pass) in HKDSE
• Can speak fluent English and Cantonese

Job Duties:

• To implement suicide preventive programme for the Elderly through “Spiritual Well-Being Nurture Groups”; responsible for programme implementation, logistic and clerical support, reporting and other duties related to the operations
• To assist in training of Youth Ambassadors to support elderly in suicide prevention
• To assist in internal training programmes and activities in suicide prevention for potential volunteers and retraining sessions to existing volunteers
• To assist in outreach and educational programmes, activities and training in suicide prevention
• To assist in promotion of service and recruit partnering agencies, and liaise, collaborate and coordinate with volunteers and external partners
• To assist in the production and broadcasting of a short promotion video set on suicide prevention, and assist in other publicity initiatives
• To assist in preparation of working reports and handling of service accounts.
• Other relevant duties assigned by supervisors

Working Hours: 40 hours gross per week and work out of office hours when necessary

Working location: Office in Chai Wan, work with NGOs in all districts of Hong Kong
