AstraZeneca’s Early Clinical Group are looking for Statistical Programmers to join their Clinical Trial Science Group.
Our Clinical Trial Data Science programming group is totally passionate about delivering innovation and seeking out opportunity. This small, dynamic group allows programmers to get involved in developing multiple activities and initiatives, as well as crafting its culture and contributing towards continuous improvement in solutions delivery.
Main duties and responsibilities
We’re looking for hardworking, innovative Programmers with clinical programming experience to work at the heart of our Early Clinical Project Teams.
- Apply programming expertise to problems, problem solving with a quality focus
- Gather explore and present accumulating data to help with decision making in early phase trials
- Find opportunities to improve methodology and drive standard methodology in statistical programming
- Responsible for delivery of the technical components required to support the analysis and reporting
- Provide input into technical database standards and programming specification documents
- Provide input to the quality of all deliverables, holding our partners and providers accountable for the quality of their deliverables
- Support the Global programming leads in ECD programming activities.
Essential requirements
- BSc or post graduate qualification (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social Sciences
- SAS programming in a pharmaceutical environment
- Awareness of CDISC standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mind-set
- The ability to proactively drive innovations.
