This is a role well suited to an ambitious
professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Project
Accounting & Controlling Intern, you will be responsible for:
- You will support with invoicing process as it relates to ongoing capital projects
- You will support the monthly financial close activities and the subsequent reporting/analysis
- You will support the annual budgeting process for new construction and building stock projects in the pipeline for the Siemens Healthineers North America Zone
- You will actively support the SharePoint project folder structure ongoing maintenance with current documentation and relevant reporting files
- You will be involved in any capital project accounting & forecasting related ad-hoc tasks

- You have excellent PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software (including but not limited to SAP, MS PowerBI)
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- You are in currently enrolled in a undergraduate business or Master's degree in a related field (i.e. Accounting, Business, Real Estate, Finance)
- You are competent in terms of building and evaluating financial models in MS Excel
- You have demonstrated the ability to collaborate in a team structure, across functions to help reach group milestones
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Must be available to wok full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week)
- Must be local to the Malvern, PA office (50 miles or less) or east coast based
- Must feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment
Start date: ASAP or May 2021; 3-4 month duration.
