The Department of Management is recruiting a Project Assistant II for the administration of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The appointee will (a) provide professional teaching assistance and class administration for mainly postgraduate (e.g. MBA and EMBA) programmes and some undergraduate courses; (b) work with multiple professors at the same time; and (c) liaise with students (mature working adults). Irregular working hours may be required.

Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) a Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in related academic disciplines); (iii) fast and accurate typing skill; (iv) good written and communication skills in English and Chinese; (v) a mature, caring, attention-to-detail mindset and a pleasant attitude; and (vi) interests and passion for working in an academic environment. Prior administrative experience and experience as Teaching Assistant are preferred.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing September 2019, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
