Main Duties of the Jobholder

• Set up and maintain efficient process and procedure on project fabrication, subcontracting management, and production engineering support.

• Train and enhance capability of supervisors and engineers under construction team to meet project and company future requirements.

• Responsible for all construction and coordination activities of Project involving fabrication and production engineering.

• Liaise and coordinate with Project Engineering Manager, Project Procurement Manager, Project Safety Advisor, Project Quality Manager, Subcontractors, etc.

• Plan, develop and organize the construction and production engineering effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan.

• Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, pre-commissioning, load-out and offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, scope of work and in accordance with the approved project schedule.

• Clearly delegate actions and responsibilities and define deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to team members.

• Facility timely problem resolution with the construction team members.

• Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/ work instructions.

• Adhere to company safety standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.

• High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.

Essenials:

Understanding of offshore /onshore project HSE/QC procedure, system, practice and method

Understanding of offshore/onshore project construction process, procedure, practice and method.

Good soft skill on computer, good speaking, writing and lessoning on English

Be open and honest.

Keep project and functional management apprised of all important items in a timely manner.

Be a realist - see things and report them as they are and not the way we may wish them to be.

Listen to project team members, supporting staff and company management.

Over 5 year experience on major offshore/onshore oil & gas projects

Bachelor degree or above,
