About the Role

BSI is a notified body with a team of qualified and experienced industry microbiologists that help medical device manufacturers navigate the areas of compliance within the areas of sterilization, packaging and microbiological testing. 

The Project Coordinator will support the Microbiology Team with responsibility for the coordination and oversight of technical and regulatory reviews. Using project management software and systems, the successful candidate will support the scheduling, delivery and management of a diverse portfolio of specialist reviews, supporting manufacturers around the world. This role will be support ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.

You’ll be working in a customer orientated environment associated with medical devices and have a good understanding of project management principles. Your structured approach, excellent organization and prioritization skills mean that you plan effectively, have an eye for detail and are committed to delivering a excellent service, on time. An effective communicator and team player, you’ll thrive in a highly regulated and challenging environment where your contributions are really valued.

In addition you’ll have:

  • The ability to understand, interpret, and communicate project activities and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • An appreciation of operating within a highly regulated environment
  • Experience in the coordination of complex projects
  • Sound computer skills (e.g. Windows, Excel, Word) and ability to learn BSI systems e.g. SAP
  • High levels of initiative with a strong focus on delivery 
  • Three years of revelant work experience
  • High school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
