Job Description

About the role:

  • Engage in communication with relevant language teams, providing feedback and sharing updated instructions
  • Perform administrative tasks, including tracking of schedules and query management
  • Check translated content with a strong focus on adherence to client instructions and guidelines, as well as basic linguistic issues (mostly Korean and Japanese), such as numbers, missing text, punctuation, spelling, and grammar
  • Perform QA of translated content using Trados Studio and Xbench
  • Perform layout fixes using VSC (Visual Studio Code) for different languages.
  • Perform other projects or duties when required, such as small translations, document management, and simple financial tasks.

 

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Fluent in Korean and Japanese, with good command of English written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and progress
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a high degree of independence and ownership
