Job Description
About the role:
- Engage in communication with relevant language teams, providing feedback and sharing updated instructions
- Perform administrative tasks, including tracking of schedules and query management
- Check translated content with a strong focus on adherence to client instructions and guidelines, as well as basic linguistic issues (mostly Korean and Japanese), such as numbers, missing text, punctuation, spelling, and grammar
- Perform QA of translated content using Trados Studio and Xbench
- Perform layout fixes using VSC (Visual Studio Code) for different languages.
- Perform other projects or duties when required, such as small translations, document management, and simple financial tasks.
Essential skills and experience required:
- Fluent in Korean and Japanese, with good command of English written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success
- Strong computer skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and progress
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a high degree of independence and ownership
