Our client is an international construction company with a wide range of railway projects around the globe. To support upcoming railway projects in Singapore, they are now looking for an experienced individual for the (Project Director/ Senior Manager, Tunnelling position to lead the tunnelling team for all the works and daily operation.

The Job.

Reporting to the Project Head, your responsibilities are:

• Ensures the completion of construction within budget, on schedule, and meets all program objectives and appropriate government regulations.
• Implements quality control measures to ensure construction project compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.
• Manages communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions.
• Address and resolve technical and contractual impediments to progress.
• Conducts weekly coordination meeting with all the stakeholders.
• Prepare executive briefings, reports and presentations
• Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates. Supervises superintendents.

Skills & Experiences Required.

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Civil/ Structural Engineering or other related disciplines
• 20+ years' experience in tunnelling and 10+ years in large diameter TBM (TBM diameter>10m)
• Good project management and organization skills to manage data and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Station in Singapore
