Project Documentation Engineer- Remote working PRIMARY FUNCTION: Supporting the Project Engineering team Leader in driving and gatekeeping progression information between the sales stages of C360 Producing excellent quality documentation for clients including Technical Submittals Engineering meetings admin – arranging, keeping minutes, publishing action lists, chasing follow ups Producing Project GANNT charts Producing O+M Manuals from uploaded and online files Producing and amending Project Process documentation Co-ordinating and uploading Level 2/3/4/5 installation, commissioning and test documentation Uploading tech submissions/O&Ms/RAMs to customer document platforms such as 4P/Viewpoint and others Managing client and staff security clearances Arranging FAT travel requests with associated customer data Arranging site access & permits ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Developing sound business relationships with clients based on quality of service, integrity and Eaton values to become a valued and trusted stakeholder Establishing and managing the Project Lessons Learned Repository Documenting and updating technical/engineering risk Providing post-sales documentation support to the Project Managers Managing the production of manufacturing drawings for client approval. Managing production of initial Technical Submissions, Continually searching for ways to improve the way we do business, to upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and client trends Qualifications SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE: Experience of working with demanding customers MS Office, Excel in particular Adobe Acrobat Pro MS Project Negotiation and Conflict Management Good knowledge of as many of the following as possible: LV switchgear, HV/MV switchgear, transformers, BMS/SCADA systems and UPS systems Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills AutoCAD desirable, not essential Possess and maintain a valid driving license Legally authorised to work in the UK and EU #LI-AC2 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
