Job Description
To further expand our project team in China we are looking for a:
Project Engineer Construction Project Management (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- You will advise our domestic and international customers on the design, project planning, and development of efficient plant and factory structures.
- You will be responsible for calculating costs and preparing planning and implementation schedules for the design and planning of factory and production buildings.
- Your duties include coordinating the interfaces between the various planning departments, subcontractors and plant and equipment suppliers, as well as providing assistance with the bidding process and contract award.
- You will be in charge of the project management and the scheduling, deadline monitoring, quality control and cost controlling for the construction and implementation measures.
Your profile:
- You have an above-average university degree in construction engineering or architecture, or a comparable technical degree.
- With several years of professional work experience in the construction project management field, you have strategic, design, and analytical skills, and have acquired experience in all service and construction phases.
- Experience in working in the automotive industry would be an advantage.
- You are ready to meet challenges on site at our customers’ locations.
- Ability to support our customers in complex project tasks as well as working in international project teams.
- Good command of Chinese and English (knowledge of further languages especially German would be advantageous).
- Based in Shanghai or Shenyang Office. Willingness for domestic and international travel over longer project durations is required.
