his is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 3 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of both Approach Spacing Management System and Ground Movement Control System projects
• Work with consultants, ATM and CNS experts and systems suppliers to provide technical information for the development of system integration, human machine interface and user requirement for the air traffic management system
• Assist the project manager in the supervision of the system installation works to meet the functional, budgetary and programme requirements
• Coordinate with Civil Aviation Department and technical services department to prepare detailed maintenance requirements and tender documents
• Critically review and assess the technical submissions from CNS suppliers and consultants including system design change, safety risks assessment etc

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Avionics, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• With minimum 6 years of experience in ATC systems or other electronic engineering systems covering areas in design, planning, implementation, acceptance or maintenance of electronic systems.
• Knowledgeable in managing projects is an advantage
• Possession of professional qualification in aviation or engineering is an advantage
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Possess a valid Hong Kong driving license
