Project Engineer – Job Description
Requirements Analysis: Serve as the primary technical liaison to customers, translating complex client requirements and specifications into clear, actionable engineering tasks and system designs for the internal team.
Technical Scope Management: Apply deep engineering knowledge to evaluate project feasibility, identify potential technical risks, and provide accurate cost and timeline estimates during the project planning phase.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication between engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure all technical deliverables align with customer expectations and internal quality standards.
Milestone & Timeline Ownership: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress against critical milestones to ensure all phases (design, procurement, assembly, testing) remain on track for on-time delivery.
Resource & Bottleneck Management: Proactively identify engineering bottlenecks, resource constraints, or technical roadblocks, implementing corrective actions to maintain workflow continuity and meet deadlines.
Status Reporting: Generate regular progress reports for both internal stakeholders and external clients, documenting technical achievements, changes in scope, and adherence to project timelines.
Quality & Delivery Assurance: Oversee the final technical verification and testing processes to ensure the completed engineering output meets specified requirements before customer delivery or site installation.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews to document lessons learned, refine engineering workflows, and improve the accuracy of future project forecasting and execution.
