Supporting our sales team in preparation of offers. Generating the Functional Design specification. Confirming specifications for Variable Speed Drives, Motors and transformers with Siemens factories Producing drawings and specifications for third party items such as switchgear, control panels and Electrical Installation Supporting the commissioning activity Attending technical liaison meetings with clients and subcontractors both at home and overseas Contributing to the wider LDA objectives Use your skills to move the world forward Be educated to degree/HND level or equivalent Fully understand the issues surrounding the application of variable speed drives and motors Understand systems peripheral to typical Large Drive System applications Installation experience (e.g. HV switchgear, cooling systems, lubrication systems, etc.) Be methodical by nature with a strong attention to detail and be experienced and comfortable with document control discipline and procedures. Have experience in AutoCAD, the Microsoft office suite and other electrical engineering tools Be curious and innovative in looking for new ways to work to improve departmental productivity Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills Provide flexibility and commitment.
