This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Senior Project Engineer (Quality) for the effective and efficient project management of design and construction contracts to ensure that both the medium and long term development projects are planned and delivered to meet the Authority’s quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting all necessary quality audit on contractors and internal audits;
• Assist in reviewing ITPs submitted by Contractors;
• Assist in monitoring status of NCRs on each contract and follow up for close out;
• Assist in review and approval of quality manuals and quality plans submitted by the contractors; and
• Assist in setting up inspections procedures, process improvement and implement the improvement plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 3 years should be in a role responsible for auditing, reviewing quality control documents e.g. ITP and Quality Plans etc. and handling NCRs
• Member of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies
• Experience in the management of civil and building works construction and site supervision
• Auditing skills of contractor audit/internal audit is an advantage
• Proven practical experience in project quality management is an advantage
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications, project management software tools, Aconex and SnagR is an added advantage
