Project Leader (Programme and Project Management)

Job Description
Arup Programme and Project Management is expanding the programme and planning team for the increasing market coverage. The candidate will be working on high profile and large scale projects in the regions.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Director and take lead the project team for project planning, managing and control the execution of multi-disciplinary projects from inception to handover with high quality, within schedule and budget
- Create new services to suit market needs, explore new business opportunities, and develop and strengthen PPM services
- Assist in driving revenue growth for the group and prepare annual business plan
- Liaise with clients, project stakeholders and end-users, government authorities. Manage design consultants and contractors for project success
- Develop training framework, coach junior staff in managing project and their career development
Qualifications and Experiences required:
- Candidates should possess membership of a recognised professional institute in Project Management / Architectural / Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction / Building Surveying
- Corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s)
- At least 15 years of post graduation experience
- Competency in aspects of management techniques and processes specified in International Project Management Standards for entire project cycle
- Familiar with Project Execution, Design Management, Statutory Submission Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, Value Management, Stakeholders Management, etc.
- Strong problem solving skill and commercially aware
- Proactive mindset with strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good command of Putonghua is an advantage
