Responsible for the end to end management of projects development and implementation in Partnership Distribution

• Work with users and team leads within Partnership Development to define business needs and objectives of new application systems or support enhancements to existing systems.
• Review and advise in planning, directing, controlling, safe guarding, risk evaluation, budgeting, feasibility study, development, maintenance and implementation of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities.
• Proactively identify risks, develop contingency plans and effectively communicate solutions to contain risk exposures.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of a team of system development, maintenance and support staff.
• Manage and monitor project development and progress to ensure completion on agreed schedule. Ensure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting business users' needs, business objectives and design guidelines.
• Control and manage resources across projects. Support project teams to ensure effective delivery.
• Prepare RFP, assess vendor proposals and recommend solution which is best met business needs and objectives.
• Ensure system development processes and system outputs are conforming to regulation requirements and guidelines.
• Develop effective working relationships with vendors and other third parties.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience, preferably in insurance fulfilment
• Good project management skills
• Self-starter and keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate with and effectively influence a variety of stakeholders.
