Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PMO who will support our customer in major global procurement project. In your role a a PMO your responsibilities will be: • Developing and implementing the PMO processes and procedures based on the project requirements. • Monitor compliance with project standards in terms of documentation, reporting, communication, budget submissions, and spending, and recommend remedial action as necessary. • Monitor the need for PMO services and resolve discrepancies between supply and demand. • Ensure that support for the PMO team is staffed and efficient. • Review all detailed project plans to ensure that all teams within the project have been planned with a sufficient level of detail, including the definition of all projects, work packages, tasks, deliverables, risks and scheduling. • Monitor the individual project plans and deliverables to ensure that the effects on other projects are understood and managed. • Participation in formal project reviews and Management reviews. • In conjunction with the Project Leadership Team, monitoring areas with significant project risks. Requirements: • You have several years of professional experience in project management ; ideally in procurement. • You have participated in agile projects, you are very familiar with the PMO methodology. • You work results and solution-oriented, have strong analytical skills and a strong strategic, entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy conceptual work. • You have the ability to analyze complex and procedural problems, derive measures, prepare, communicate and implement results in a way that is appropriate for the target group. • You also have structured planning and organizational skills, analytical thinking and a confident and competent demeanor. • You have a strong hands-on mentality and excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Furthermore, you bring a high level of assertiveness, strong initiative as well as flexibility and high motivation. • You are a real team player, enjoy working in heterogeneous teams and you enjoy being close to the business at the same time, working closely with the head office and taking responsibility in the project. • Your handling of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as MS Project and agile project management tools (e.g. Jira) is safe and at a high level. • Fluent language skills in English, spoken and written.
