As the office in Nashville is rapidly expanding you will inevitably be co-responsible for arranging the readiness of IT Services, mainly around infrastructure, for an extended team. You will do it through close cooperation with the Global Organization to understand and follow certain standards (with your valuable input to co-create them as well) and with external vendors. You are responsible for
You will manage IT program and projects of several sections or departments, meaning you exercise supervision in terms of solution, costs, and methods.
Your primary duty is managing and driving the delivery of the IT program and projects within budget, time, quality and agreed deliverables.
Establishing and assuring adherence of the chosen solution direction to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements during the project execution is part of your key responsibilities
You formulate the project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management or the Program Manager; specifies the manning of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used.
You control the project budget and project progress, evaluates the project initiative on feasibility, costs/benefits, risks and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.
You lead the project, within the project budget and program strategy, in terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources.
You will contribute to the formulation of the project management maturity of the Infrastructure Delivery Center.
You Coach and manage your own project team. With a strong drive on delivering results.
Regular interactions with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers are also part of the job.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Experience working Agile
Hands on mentality – Able to drive delivery and solve challenges
PMI- PMP, Prince 2 or ITIL certifications are required.
Experience in bringing solutions and applications to the Cloud for a large multinational is a pre
Experience in Network and Telecom Delivery is a pre
Focused on delivery - Always capable to deliver better and more, even against restraint resource environments
